I am a fourth year doctoral candidate in the School of Social Work at the University of Alabama. My research interest include: Gerontology, End-of-life care, Planning for the end of life, Hastening death, and Suicide among older adults. I have taught several undergraduate social work courses since beginning the doctoral program. These courses include: History of Social Welfare; Social Welfare Policy and Services; and Research for Social Work Practice. During the next two semesters, I will teach Human Behavior in the Social Environment. In addition to being a student, I provide program evaluation services to an area social services agency.
