I recently won the William M. Suttles Endowed Scholarship where I was selected as a recipient out of 6,000 people. Mr. Suttles at a time was the President of Georgia State University. Christian Students
In this group, I was involved in an intensive internship where I read the Bible with other students and prepared certain events that would be held at Georgia State and Georgia Tech. This was a one month internship. One outstanding activity we did is going to Texas, where we had a Team Reunion with other students involved in the same group all over America. In Texas, we received training on how to share the gospel, and I was able to make new friends and grow in spiritual and practical maturity.

I joined the Impact Movement in the beginning of this Fall Semester. I go every Thursday to meaningful Bible studies. Likewise, I went on a fall retreat where I got to meet Christian students from Georgia State and CRU students from Georgia Tech. At this retreat I went to more Bible Studies and got away from the busy city life.

Cashier at Ingles

As a cashier, I scan groceries but also have insightful conversations with people of all ages.

January 2017 - Present
Courtesy Clerk at Kroger
I had quite a lot of responsibilities. For example, I pushed carts, I bagged groceries, and put items back in their designated aisles. I also helped elderly people put their groceries into their cars. I would sometimes do "go backs" which is a assignment that makes courtesy clerks put any unwanted items back in the correct aisles. I would go on 30 minute store sweeps and do propane exchanges as well. For store sweeps I was expected to sweep up any dirt, food, and other trash that was found on the ground. For propane exchanges, I was supposed to take a person's empty propane bottle and give them a full one.
