Richard Lamb

I have been fortunate to work and train in each and every aspect of public safety for the past 31 years. First as Firefighter, Fire Captain, Emergency Medical Technician, Public Safety Dispatcher, and now a 29 year veteran Police Officer. During my law enforcement career I have worked on drug task force units, served as a Field Training Officer and Instructor. I have gained specialized credentials in criminal investigations, crash investigation, crime scene processing. I am certified in federal commercial vehicle inspection, commercial vehicle roll-over investigations, Haz-Mat & cargo tank inspection and certified in weights & measures. I have had the opportunity to learn from, and work with the very best professionals dedicated to serving the public. Although I have witnessed & experienced more than my share of tragic incidents, I've realized far outweighing satisfaction from helping those in need in a multitude of ways. While I continue my law enforcement career I intend to employ the tremendous amount of training and experience I've accumulated in order to increase efficiency, productivity, integrity, professionalism, service and safety within the department for the benefit of the entire community! Upon completing my public safety service career I hope to someday obtain a position in the private sector utilizing my training and experience.
