Ryan L. O'Donnell is currently a graduate student in Florida Institute of Technologys Applied Behavior Analysis Masters program and expects to graduate in May of 2013. As manager for JKP aquatic operant lab, Ryan oversees its care and implementation of several basic animal research experiments. Prior to attending FIT, Ryan received his Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno with a minor in business administration. His major interests are in the following areas: -Precision teaching -Philosophical positions of the science of behavior -Dissemination of behavior analysis -Successful applications of technology to increase the efficiency of behavior analysts -Large-scale practical applications of behavioral technology He is currently conducting a thesis investigating a computer-based procedure to teach children to engage in the relational skills necessary for perspective-taking. He works as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) at Threshold Academy where he provides behavioral assessment and treatment to children diagnosed with a variety of disabilities in a school setting. Ryan has a diversity of experience gained over the past three years conducting behavioral assessments to then develop, implement, and train staff on behavior analytic programming. He has worked across several populations include children and adults with developmental disabilities in outpatient, residential, and school settings.
