Sandra Smith

In June of 2013, I completed my 5th year as one of two assistant principals at Wynne High School. My husband, John G. Smith, pastors Christian Fellowship Church. I have been married for 30 years. I have three adult children who have traveled overseas, two who have traveled extensively. I have been admitted to the Harding doctoral program for educational leadership. My past experience includes teaching high school English for twelve years, coordinating the secondary level ALE program, serving as Dean of Students at the local junior high school. During my tenure as assistant principal, I have participated in a delegation of Arkansas educators who traveled to China, where we toured several educational facilities along with several other historical cites. In addition, I served on the District Communication committee, completed the assistant principal program courtesy of the Leadership Academy, completed my superintendency via Harding, and trained for the implementation of Common Core under Judy Manning, who was hired as a secondary level consultant.
