Presidential Honor Society
It is an honor to have been accepted to the Presidential Honors Society at UAlbany, as admission is extremely difficult to achieve. Members are required to maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA for their entire college career, and invitations are only sent out after the student has received a 3.7 or higher for a semester. I was accepted in 2015 and I'm still going strong!

Sigma Tau Delta
I get to regularly meet with like-minded people and discuss anything from Shakespeare to current events to films, etc. We also oversee a few events on Campus every year, including a charity book drive and the annual Commencement Ceremony. There is a required 15 hours of community service per semester to remain a member as well.

Orientation Team Leader at New Student Programs
I oversee a group of 20 Orientation Leaders and I am tasked with assuring that the training and orientation processes run smoothly. I organize a number of events that are intended to give the staff a fun break from work. Finally, I host the orientation programs and speak to crowds of up to 300 people as I introduce speakers and keep the event running smoothly.

Recreation Manager at Campus Recreation
I supervise a staff of over 20 employees and ensure that they are sufficiently carrying out the items that they have been tasked with. I hold the keys of the majority of rooms in the Physical Education Building and various rooms in the SEFCU Arena, and I open and close those buildings as well. I am the first reporter in any incident that occurs in these buildings, injury or otherwise, and I deal with UPD and 5 Quad as needed.
September 2015 - Present
Orientation Leader at New Student Programs
I oversaw groups of up to 20 students. I escorted them to events and organized various activities to assure that their orientation was enjoyable and informative. I gave tours and conducted meetings throughout each day of orientation. Luckily this job gave me the opportunity to participate in a National Coalition Building Institute trying where we were educated on diversity and inclusion. I also participated in a Safe Space LGBTQ+ training right after this job ended, so I am certified in that as well.
