My project targets the specific neuronal circuits that may be involved in action selection processes for basic adaptive behaviors. My current training includes: -Effectively raising stocks of Drosophila melanogaster -utilizing basic neurogenetics to express conditional cation channels -setting up various behavioral assays -videoanalysis of behavior -radioimaging of Ca2+ levels in downstream neurons
