Shane Messick

*Relocating to Los Angeles, CA in late May, 2016 In 2012 I graduated with a Humanities and Social Sciences Associate of Arts with a theatre focus. After graduation, I was fortunate enough to experience the reward of acting for TV and film. Although I still have an interest in acting, I developed a strong passion for the work behind the camera, thus leading to my pursuit of a Bachelor's of Science degree in business communication. Currently, I am a senior at Stevenson University, and I will graduate in May 2016. As such, I am beginning to look for career roles focused on the entertainment industry. As a business communication major, I have discovered that my vision for entertainment and media transitions seamlessly into a corporate environment, including public relations, advertising, marketing, social media, event planning and production. During my college years, I have taken many courses that can relate to a career in entertainment. In addition to courses taken, I have interned with both a casino based advertising agency and a large-scale venue that hosts mainstream concerts and tours. Combined with ten years of work experience relating to entertainment, administrative assistance, customer service, sales, and hospitality, I would like to put my education and experience to good use for a company that shares the excitement I have, while giving me the ability to grow in the world of entertainment and media.
