My name is Shannon Mitchell, and I am a Manager for Phonathon at Champlain College, a Statistics Tutor, a Freelance Marketer and Graphic Designer, a full time student, and an aspiring Game Producer. My passion is using creativity and innovation in order to design a better future. My personal hero, Jane McGonigal said it best: Today, I look forward and I see a future in which games once again are explicitly designed to improve quality of life, to prevent suffering, and to create real, widespread happiness. My goal is to make this ideal a reality, through personal excellence, and a dedication to quality. I enjoy creative solutions, innovative thinking, and leadership by example. As a Junior in college I have maintained a 4.0 for every semester, which I believe demonstrates the level of dedication and quality that I offer in each of my pursuits. I am experienced in game production, project management, graphic design, marketing, communication, financial and managerial accounting, and fund development. As an aspiring game producer, it is my goal to use creative innovation to push the boundaries of traditional business, and to design a better future.
