Stevance Andrews

My name is Stevance Juwan Andrews, and I am a proud graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management. Many undergraduate extra-curricular activities and various job positions have equipped me with the skills I need to be a valuable employee in the workforce. My background includes utilizing management and customer service within office, restaurant and educational environments. I formerly worked as a student assistant for the Office of Social Equity at Valdosta State University, where my responsibilities included handling customer questions related to equality issues, maintaining the office, serving on committees and as committee heads, and scheduling meetings for the director of the office. Being employed in this office also elevated my understanding and appreciation for the importance of preserving equality and diversity within society. I also worked for a major summer enrichment program company, Summer Discovery, where I served as a Resident Counselor at the University of Michigan and Georgetown University. I demonstrated the ability to resolve a variety of issues and complaints within my staff and residence. I was also able to gain experience managing and supervising in a residential setting. As a result of my performance and dedication to the company, I was offered a position to serve as a campus representative to recruit new employees to the company. In addition to this experience, I gained considerable experience serving as the Co- Founder and President of Media Arts Geniuses, a talent-based organization for students at Valdosta State University. This organization helped me develop an eye for talent and how to manage different types of people. I'm now seeking an entry-level position to utilize my skills and experience acquired in my previous positions. The goal is to find a company where I can grow and make better along the way.
