Tabitha Cone
From Lucedale, MS
Knowledge is power and education is something that no one can take away from you. My mother always told me that growing up and I took it to heart. I have always craved knowledge and I find an eclectic array of education whether it be on the computer, magazines, books, television, or just listening to someone talk. I hopefully will graduate with my BSN in December and then I plan to pursue my Doctorate in Nursing. The dichotomy of my practice will hopefully be in geriatrics and mental health. I truly love both of them. I have recently moved to Greene County and it's a little bit of a culture shock when you have lived on the Coast for so long. I am an animal rights activist and an Equality for all activist. I believe our healthcare system should move towards a single-payer system or find a way for all of us to have access to quality care no matter if we are employed or not. I believe healthcare is a right and not a privilege.
