Tara Gosseline

I am a 25 year old mother and an Army wife. I am a daughter of a nurse and a Vietnam war veteran Marine. Nursing is my passion and I am fulfilling my dream as I journey my way through the UALR nursing program. I am following in my mother's footsteps just as she went through this same program. I have grown not just as a scholar, but as a person, a wife, a mother, and friend. This program has truly changed me as a person. I assess every person that I meet and I am able to identify aspects of human life and functioning that I had no knowledge of a year ago. I hold my family tighter, love deeper, and appreciate life more than anything else. With four years of emergency and intensive care experience as a patient care technician, it is my goal to continue emergency and critical care after graduation with a long term goal of psychiatric nursing. I intend on serving our community of veterans and giving back to those who have honorably served and currently serve our country.
