Graduate Teaching AssistantAugust 2014 - PresentAs, the Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA), my responsibilities include providing assistance to the supervising tenured professor. More specifically, the responsibilities involve lesson planning and preparation, lecturing, laboratory instruction, maintaining office hours, create and grade assessments, and maintain student records. In addition to the duties at TA, I also support the professor with research manuscripts. Courses Taught: The Elementary School Child- Child development theories and research findings, conceptual relationships between education and developmental paradigms, pathways of individual student development, child-centered and other types of educational reforms, the concept of developmental “needs” and the roles and responsibilities of school staff for meeting children’s developmental needs. Includes clinical hours. Undergraduate course. Child Development and Instructional Design for Elementary School Learners- Models of child development and learning theories with application for the design of instruction for elementary education learner. Requires extensive clinical experiences. Graduate Course
