The philosophy is daring students to be rare as The student life team will hear students up for a run of academic achievement. Under SLT, I work for the Step Up organization which I am to mentor first year people of color, since some may very comfortable in engaging with students with the Similar background rather than talking with admin.

Am the athletic club director for an Black Deaf club or organization. But also is committed to advocating for students who come across issues at the NTID campus. Issues dealing with administration or racial issues to be exact. We host events and workshops for the Black community to be involved leading to their successes

We create events and workshops for those students including our famous Hot Lava Discussion events every month where we and the community come together to discuss, debate and have a dialogue on controversial issues in today's society.
