Theresa Renaud
I was granted the Leadership in Nursing award for my role within the student body. I also coordinated a fundraiser to aid in the Haitian relief effort. I believe in the importance of helping others; therefore, I am currently participating in a mentoring program for teenage mothers. My role as a change agent has been evident throughout my clinical rotations. Particularly at the Chicopee Women's Correctional Facility where I implemented a "transitional guide" to assist women in maintaining sobriety and health upon release. I have been recognized on the Dean's List a number of times; as I have an intense yearning for knowledge in the art and science of Nursing.
