Tiffany Martinez

As a soon to be graduate of Colorado State University in Journalism and Technical Communication, I strive to be a journalist who impacts her readers and listeners through every story. I value the opportunity to affect my audience by connecting with them at a personal level and being "different" than the everyday reporter. 

I have a strong work efficacy and truly enjoy learning in every circumstance. I believe that by putting myself out there and trying new things, I will one day find my true belonging in a career. 

Currently I am interning for Clear Channel Radio in Loveland, Colorado for Big Country 97.9 and 600 KCOL Fox News Radio. This has been an eye-opening experience for me about how the radio industry works and has been a fantastic experience. 

Aside from my major and internship, I am also an English tutor for two international students from Korea. Not only have I gained great leadership skills from tutoring, but I also learned a lot about my own writing and of different cultures throughout it. 

Throughout my undergraduate degree, I have gained advanced skills in writing, blogging, social media, photography, web design, reporting, and editing. I am very versatile within my journalism degree and can write based on a timed task. I believe that my time management skills are also displayed within the different areas of work this semester.
