Tonya Sorensen

I was an in-patient pharmacy technician for 8 years at the ALMC-Mayo Health Systems which has given me a great knowledge of medications. I was an LPN for five years that gave me opportunies to numerous procedures and immunizations,health coaching, etc. I was on the Governors Council for mental health which has given me the understanding of people with differing diagnoses, as well as being on the Minnesota Parent Leadership Program since it's start in 2000 which has given me insight into childrens and adolescents conditions. I recently graduated in March from Rochester Technical and Community College and passed my RN licensing board. I received a very good education from RCTC and had outstanding clinical experiences in working with my clinical instructors and the amazing staff at St. Mary's Hospital. I cannot wait to start taking care of patients again, it is so rewarding!
