Class Officers/ Class Councils

The Class Officers fall under the umbrella of the Student Senate. The objective of the Class Officers is to help establish unity in each of the three undergraduate classes. The Class Officers consist of a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer for each class.

Campus Chorus

The University Campus Chorus is open to all students from all majors across campus. Singers can participate for academic credit or as a cocurricular activity. Chorus sings for two major concerts on campus each year as wells as for on-campus traditions such as the Festival of Lights, and the spring choral festival hosted by the Cooperating Colleges of Greater Springfield. The Chorus has a tradition of leadership through our student executive board.

Community Action Rewards Everyone (CARE)

C.A.R.E. is dedicated to learning about the Springfield community, engaging in thought-provoking service experiences, and making friends. With a variety of service projects every month, students will be able to choose and lead initiatives they are passionate about. C.A.R.E. is open to all students, and all service projects qualify to fulfill mandatory service hours.

Alternative Spring Break (ASB)

The ASB program has provided students with opportunities for service learning and leadership development. ASB provides a unique opportunity for students to dedicate their spring break to engaging in community service by immersing themselves in communities they are unfamiliar with and doing work they may never done before. Alternative breaks allow students to engage in meaningful direct service while exploring social issues and building relationships.
