I was also the recipient of the Peggy Ryan Williams Award, a prestigious award presented to students who represent an exemplary level of accomplishment with academic excellence and service to the campus community and the nation. As a first-generation student, I'm passionate about sharing my academic and life experience(s) while learning from peers and mentors, which is why I've enjoyed my research experience (inside/outside the classroom).
