I am an ambitious, organized, and passionate student at Baldwin Wallace University, where I maintain a 3.6 GPA, earning me a place on the Deans List. At Baldwin Wallace University, working with others and embracing diversity is a principal focus of our education. The college emphasizes the importance of real-world experiences and their application to our lives, as well as the necessity of building relationships and interpersonal skills. My work background has provided me with these experiences and allowed me to apply my classroom knowledge to the business world. I will be graduating December 2015 with a finance major and minor in public relations. I have recently returned from studying abroad in China and have gained useful intercultural business and communication skills. My study abroad experience has provided me with a greater understanding and appreciation of global communities as well as insight on how to effectively navigate around communication and cultural barriers. Studying in China has not only affected my educational and career path but has also enhanced my understanding of personal cultural values and biases. I have a diverse educational background with a focus on finance and I am looking forward to beginning a career in financial services. Gaining the skills and exposure to problem solving applications in an innovative real world environment is an exciting process of which I am eager to be a part of.
