Welcome to my profile! I am an enthusiastic accounting student on a path that leads to CPA and CMA certifications. I have attained the required 150 credits for CPA certification, with 33 credits to go for a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy. I have an expected graduation date of March, 2016. I will be passing the CPA and CMA certification exams by March of 2018. I have a strong foundation of honesty, integrity, faith, education, and discipline. Through my education and life experiences, I have developed common sense, balance, humility, and compassion. These skills combined with my genuine care for others, result in high productivity, excellent communications, and client satisfaction within the accounting industry. My top 5 strengths are: Responsibility, Achiever, Learner, Relator, and Positivity. During the past 30 years, I have been: US Navy Corpsman who served in Lebanon and Libya, Michigan National Guard Construction Surveyor, Construction Inspector (mainly in road construction), MDOT Certified Instructor in construction materials, Tutor for college level accounting, mathematics, economics, taxation, and business. My technical skills include: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, QuickBooks,TaxWise computer software. Other skills include: long term forecasting, strong customer service, time management, public speaking, and solving problems. It is my firm belief that we are here to help one another achieve goals set before us. In doing so, we will have an opportunity to create an environment of success, leading to increased revenues, happier clients and long term sustainability.
