Majored in M.B.A
Clarkson University, Class of 2013
From Guangzhou

Having majored in management as an undergraduate at Sun Yat-sen University, with a specific interest in hotel investment, I gained a basic understanding of economics and financial studies. As an MBA student at Clarkson University, I have further developed my understanding of the costs and benefits of certain strategies and how they affect resources that flow through the value chain. My experience as a consulting assistant in Accenture improved my capability of applying statistical analysis skills to practical business problems to a new level. I learned, through research I conducted, the economic efficiency of increasing employees working hours in Global Market Co., Ltd and how to assess overall performance by using the multi-dimensional appraisal system. I am always persistent, regarding my work and study. While preparing my first presentation in the computer lab of our business school, my classmate, Tim, clapped me on the back and said, Hey Kevin, dont stay up too late. Its Friday, have some fun, with a big smile on his face. I sincerely replied thank you, and appreciated his concern. I do enjoy having fun, but found it more enjoyable to develop my first presentation in America to its full potential. I didnt leave the lab until midnight and spent a whole weekend on my preparation. This process was tedious and tasking, however, the hard work and strong final product brought me joy. Ive laid a solid foundation for continued study based on economics principles and mathematics analysis knowledge acquired as an undergraduate and MBA student.
