I have a strong desire to destroy the stigma that surrounds mental health. I have self-published a poetry book, hoping to bring some community to the emotions that people feel those with and without mental illnesses. I plan to major in Psychology and have a lot of experience working with social media (I created an Instagram account that grew to 53,000 followers). I am interested in working with social media, and my main goal is to help those with mental illness or with other disabilities that are known as "outside the norm".
