Oversee the support staff for the DC operations.
Perform audits on all inventory functions processed through WMS. Utilize WMS for team members productivity and accuracy currently being performed.
Ensure that all areas and associates are working towards company productivity measurements.
Communicate company & department guidelines and ensure all associates are in compliance.
Continually review and improve processes and work to ensure good communication flow between departments and team.
Provide daily training and guidance on inventory control process, ensure training manual is current and updates with new processes.
Track all special project adjustments, cycle count reports, and maintain spreadsheets on all inventory projects.
Provide guidance and direction for inventory lead daily on work priorities and coach team in a positive manner.
Responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of all departments (Inbound, Outbound, and Facility Planning) within the DC.
Support TMs in understanding company policies and practices.
Help TMs succeed through performance management by providing coaching and performance communication to support development.
Execute the planned daily work schedule for the DC operations.
Responsible for allocating orders, balancing the workflow, and resolving order product shortages throughout the Warehouse.
Works directly with Logistics & Transportation to plan and coordinate the release of orders from SAP for DC Operations including replenishment orders, special orders for new store openings, as well as refresh/remodel store releases.
Run labor reports and update TMs production on a daily and weekly basis.
Create new locations and selection areas to maximize productivity throughout the DC. Move product to improve location and DC cubing.
Responsible for identifying systemic, dimension, replenishment and pallet move issues and resolving according to company policy.
