Aiden Jones was recognized for studying abroad

I studied abroad in Italy and participated in a three cities program. I studied Classical Studies and the Italian language in Tuscana, Rome, and Venice. During my time I was able to immerse myself in the Italian culture and in many ways discover new things about who I am as well. I loved Europe and the ability to step outside my comfort zone for a moment in time. I cannot wait for the opportunity to return and discover the world again.

As an incoming freshman I was awarded the George Washington Carver Scholarship, a full tuition scholarship for 100 of the top incoming multiracial freshmen. It lasts for four years of undergraduate study.
