Since coming to Belmont, I have really enjoyed studying and working in such a creative and dynamic environment. I am active in Kappa Alpha Theta and all things Theatre related. For Senior Capstones, I was cast in Gidion's Knot and most recently was cast as Pantalone in "A Servant of Two Masters" opening in the Fall of 2015. Over the summer, I am working with The Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Company in Atlanta, and auditioning for "extra" roles in films that are shooting locally.

Theatre Director, Staff Counselor at Camp Illahee, Brevard, N.C.

For 95 years, Camp Illahee, a Summer Camp for Girls, has offered girls ages 7-17 the chance to explore new interests, make lifelong friends and develop a sense of independence through activities and adventures. As a camper for 7 years and counselor/CIT/JC for 3 more, I finished my Illahee career as Theatre Director, a lifelong dream of mine. I planned, produced, supervised and directed all aspects of the Theatre Program including day-to-day activities and an end of session production. Additionally, I was responsible for a cabin of 8 girls, ages 8,9 & 10 over the course of four sessions. This included activity planning, supervision of daily routines, parent communications and problem solving.
