Wine Tasting- Using gained knowledge about different grapes to decode each customers palette, then using that information to match them with their ideal wine. Winery Tours- My public speaking skills come in handy as I educate groups of people on the work involved in growing grapes, making wine, packaging it, and selling it in a competitive market. Working Special Events- This particular job is about networking and direct sales. Tolino Vineyards participates in many events such as BaconFest, Split Rock's Pennsylvania Wine and Food Festival, and events for Martin Guitar. It is the job of the wine tasting associates to deliver excellent service, while creating and maintaining connections between Tolino Vineyards and the other participating companies. Pruning the Grapes- In order to work out in the field, you need to be able to work well both independently and as a group. Some jobs are meticulous, such as cutting off grape clusters. Some take an experienced team, such as securing bird netting over the vines.
