Alejandro Murguia-Ortiz

My name is Alejandro Murguia-Ortiz, I am an undergraduate student at the University of Iowa. I am seeking a degree in Management with a focus in Leadership and Business Analytics & Information Systems with a focus in Information Systems at the Tippie College of Business. In my two years so far at Iowa I have accumulated over 100 credits, I have had many great leadership experiences, and have received a few commemorative awards. In the past semester I was recognized as one of Tippie's 21 Under 21 for my leadership and involvement at Tippie as well as the Alliant Energy/Erroll B. Davis, Jr. Achievement Award for my work with diversity. This fall I will once again be the President of the Multicultural Business Student Association, VP of Administration for ZBT Fraternity, and AVP of Finance for Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow. Furthermore, I will be a Peer Mentor to the new class of direct admins at Tippie and a Student Ambassador for the Business Student Ambassadors Organization. This summer I will also be a mentor for Gateway at Tippie. Currently I am seeking Data Analysis, Information Systems, or Business-related internships to further improve my skills and to prepare me for the business world after graduation.
