Ameedah Abdullah

Ameedah is a published author of two books, "Tell Me About Al-Islam", an instructional book of rhymes and activities for children which teaches the basic pillars of Islam and "Poetic Perspectives On Faith and Healing", which narrates her experiences as a mental health consumer. She specializes in composing customized poetic gift items for all occasions. She is available to assist budding authors in the publication process. She also currently writes grants for a non-profit organization. As a trained mental health consumer, she advocates for and counsels fellow consumers who are mainstreaming back into society. She is also listed for availability to substitute in accredited daycare learning centers. She is a graduate of United Way's Bright From The Start program and is listed with Georgia's Professional Standards Commission on level 4.
