Educate DSS child care providers and clients on enrollment process and provide technical assistance on choosing child care. Conduct on-site visits to legally exempt child caregiver’s homes. Provide caregiver with information on USDA Child Care Food Program. Accurate and timely data entry of the Legally Exempt enrollment forms. Data management in CCFS or other related databases. Accurate documentation inspection and compliance data on home visits. Network with other community agencies, making presentations on quality child care.

Advise individuals in the community about resources to help them function as effectively as possible in the major domains of living such as employment and housing search, referrals and assistance accessing support services. Conduct short term case management to the Hispanic/Latino population. Provide assistance with accessing immigration documentation; work as a translator to obtain benefits for public assistance, one-on-one assistance for employment and housing search. Be an advocate and connect with other service providers to enhance client’s welfare. Manage the screening and intake of Catholic Charities Housing applications for low income individuals and families. Contact applicants for required documentations and enforce 30 day rule process for maintaining active status. Database management, data entry and filing. Assist with the preparation and delivery of Christmas toys to low income families.

Completed 168 hours Intake and assessments of homeless women at a shelter. Write progress notes and assessments in HMIS. Develop with the client a 30 day service plan. Assist Case Manager with scheduling appointments and organizing files.
