I am currently a senior at Carthage College double majoring in Biology and Neuroscience. I was recently awarded a Fulbright grant to work as an English teaching assistant in Bulgaria during the 2015-16 school year. I then plan to teach English as a foreign language in South Korea during 2016-17 school year. After gaining English-teaching experience I would like to join the Peace Corps.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that works to provide low-income housing for families in need and raise general awareness of homelessness around the world. Our chapter is student-lead and seeks to educate our campus while staying involved in the community.
Participated in the 2015 Collegiate Challenge by traveling to Laredo, TX, to help build homes.
Alpha Lambda Delta is a national honor society that recognizes academic excellence during a student's first year at college. It encourages academic achievement and promotes a high standard of learning.
Gamma Nu Sigma is an academic fraternity connected to Nu Rho Psi that is open to all students interested in neuroscience. It promotes academic success and prepares students for careers in neuroscience or related fields.
The Pre-Physician Assistant Club is focused on preparing students for PA school, helping students with PA school applications, and providing communication between physician assistant alumni and pre-PA students.
The International Friendship Society promotes cultural awareness on campus by hosting a variety of public events. The most important event is the annual International Dinner, which raises money for a selected international non-profit organization.

In charge of organizing and archiving records for the OB/GYN research department. Worked independently evaluating research studies and recording key details in an excel spreadsheet so that the data would be easily accessible during future audits.
