I am a rising junior Accounting major with a minor in Leadership Studies at the University of Rhode Island (Kingston, RI) and a resident of Stamford, CT. I'm a goal oriented and driven individual, striving to achieve becoming a Certified Public Accountant, completing a 150-credit curriculum in four years instead of five. I'm currently a third-year Summer Intern at Statoil Marketing & Trading, located in Stamford, CT, assisting with the Contracts, Claims & Settlements (CCS) Department working 40 hours a week. This coming academic year, I'll have the position as a Career Assistant for the URI College of Business. This past academic year, I was a Secretary for the URI Office of Greek Affairs as a work study student working 9 hours a week. I also serve on Zeta Tau Alpha's Executive Council as Recording Secretary for the 2015 year. For the past two summers, I've interned for Statoil in various departments, such as CCS, Legal, and Human Resources. I hold active membership within the Leadership Certificate Program, National Collegiate Society of Scholars and Phi Eta Sigma. I've also achieved Dean's List standing for all four semesters I've attended URI.

As a "URI 101" Business Mentor, along with my co-mentor, I provided leadership and guidance to a group of 22 first year students. I encouraged the social and academic development of each student by designing and facilitating activities for new incoming first year students. Zeta Tau Alpha
As the Service Chairman on Zeta Tau Alpha's Program Council, I organized and facilitated at least 1 community service project a month, either with another sorority/fraternity, another organization or on our own. Some of the projects we've conducted are toddler clothing drives, making cards for the local nursing home, participating in the Susan G. Kolman Race for the Cure in Boston, sponsoring a family during the holiday season, and much more.

Jumpstart
Jumpstart is a national early education organization that recruits and trains college students and community Corps members to serve preschool children in low-income neighborhoods.
