I plan on staying at Apple for as long as I can continue to learn from the company and from my position there, and when I complete my master's degree my goal will be to look for jobs in the library and information professions sector.

Per Diem Access Services Assistant at Quinnipiac University
As a per diem Access Services Assistant, I helped to supervise undergraduate and graduate students at the circulation desk, was responsible for locking up the in-building museum, technology center, and making sure the library was secured for the end of the night. I also assisted with shelf reading books and periodicals, checking materials in and out of the library, and assisting students and visitors in navigating their way around the library and campus.

I currently assist customers in learning how to use their Apple products. Primarily I can teach them the basics of using their Mac: organizing information, creating folders, using Tags. But I can also assist with instruction on how to use Mail, Contacts, and Calendars, iPhoto, iMovie, and GarageBand, as well as how to use Pages, Numbers, and Keynote effectively. In addition to all of the above Mac software I can teach, I am also proficient in teaching how to use the iPhone and iPad and their Apple-branded apps.

As a Family Room Specialist I was a certified Apple mobile device technician. I specialized in assessment and repair of iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices, as well as performed replacements of Apple branded accessories like headphones and charging cables.

In this part time position I was a sales associate that helped customer's find products that would best compliment their needs and lifestyle. I sold everything from iPods to Mac Pros and a variety of accessories such as: software, headphones, iPhone & iPad cases, and bags and cases for the Mac.

In this position I provided students with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. I was in charge of the register and acted as a cashier as well as provided the final count of money earned at the end of the night. I also helped to clean out and reorganize the stock room and helped take inventory of what items we needed to reorder. In addition to that I also restocked all of the refrigerators and freezers behind the bar and cleaned out the popcorn machine at the end of my shift.

As a Writing Associate I primarily assisted other students in perfecting their writing for a variety of subjects and helped to make sure they adhered to the writing style needed for the paper (MLA, APA). I also helped to proofread student's work and made sure that the content matched the requirements for the topic. In addition to these duties I also performed some clerical duties such as booking, canceling, and rescheduling reservations either in-person, over the phone, or via e-mail. I also performed many secretarial duties such as answering the phone, relaying messages, and helping to troubleshoot our XEROX printer and the computers in our room.
