Beth Coker

I am a student at The University of Alabama studying Communication Studies. I will graduate in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies. I will then continue my education at the Capstone to complete a Masters of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a focus in Organizational Communication. With this degree, I would like to perform consulting work with businesses and nonprofit organizations. I am hard-working and want to help improve every company I work for. This coming summer, I have accepted an internship with Love Thy Neighborhood(LTN) in Louisville, Kentucky. Through this nonprofit, I am going to be living and serving with other young adults to work together to serve and love people who are hurting in the inner-city. This internship will provide me hands-on training in areas such as strategic planning, board development, fundraising, office administration, program development and marketing. When I finish my time with LTN, I will be better ready to serve at whatever organizations I work for in the future.
