My name is Brianna Malotke and I am studying Apparel Design and Technology at Purdue with minors in French and Art Design. I can't imagine attending any other college for my degree. I participate in several clubs on campus and have been Secretary of Purdue Fashion Association my sophomore year. Im also a member of honor society and do volunteer work throughout the year. Whenever I have free time, outside of classes and clubs, I enjoy reading and writing. A poem of mine was published in "The Bell Tower," Purdue's literary magazine run by students. I hope to travel as much as I can and work in different areas of the apparel industry during my time at Purdue. I just finished my semester studying abroad at the London College of Fashion focusing on corsetry, shoe design, and millinery. Presently I am seeking apparel design internships to gain more experience in the field. I have a wide range of computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, QuickBooks, and some experience with web design, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, as well 3d Max programs. When I was secretary I was in charge of keeping track of attendance, sending out weekly news and updates as well as information about our meetings. In the club we meet every other week and do something different each meeting such as a DIY project, listen to a speaker, watch a documentary, or more.
