Brittany Roux

Ive transferred around a bit throughout my college career, starting at Syracuse University, then Fulton Montgomery Community College, and finally the University at Albany. At Syracuse University I started a degree in Mechanical Engineering, only to discover that the field did not seem to suit me. I am naturally curious about how things work and am a problem solver but I spent too much time dealing with computers where Id rather interact with people. This realization led me to transfer and attempt to discover a discipline that I felt more aligned with my personality. While taking a number of courses at Fulton Montgomery Community College I found a field I was quite interested in, Psychology. With a new goal and an Associates Degree under my belt I transferred to the University at Albany to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I hope to further my education and achieve a Masters Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
