I have written science communication podcast overviews, interviewee bios and scripts to provide comprehensive information about University of Iowa research projects including cancer, water quality, specific diseases and syndromes. I interviewed research professionals to increase community awareness of university research projects. Through the projects partnership with the Latham Science Initiative, I was awarded with a $1,000 scholarship for further science communication pursuits. ScienceFM has received more than 320 digital engagements since its creation in January 2016 thanks to the team's extensive marketing work.
