Volunteer Tutor/Mentor

Not through the University of Memphis, I sought out a friend who knew of a family in desperate need of some extra help (in tutoring, meal providing, taking care of 6 children, etc.). I meet with Jonathan (7) one to two times a week for reading, spelling, and math. I now enjoy taking Jonathan on outings such as to Grizzlies games, taking him to the Memphis zoo with his 5 siblings, having him spend the night with my family and I, and sometimes providing his family with dinners.
