Community Justice Panel
Bi-weekly hearings on first time juvenile offenders within the community that have committed minor crimes. The program allows for a panel of students at the college to listen to the juvenile's case about what happened, and what they have learned since the incident. At this hearing the panel creates a contract for the juvenile to complete in 6 weeks that aims to help the juvenile improve themselves as a person while acknowledging their wrongdoings and possibly researching the consequences for their actions had they not been referred for panel review.

IMPACT Project Collegiate Mentor
Weekly, supervised one-on-one mentoring of a juvenile that has been an adjudicated delinquent (supervised by the Lehigh County Juvenile Probation Department) to provide an opportunity for the juvenile to build rapport with a positive college student role model. I provide academic support, promote pro-social group activities as well as expose him or her to various aspects of life on a college campus in order to demonstrate to the juvenile that they are capable of pursuing higher education despite what their past has provided for them.
