Alexander Champagne

I am a firm believer that numbers do not lie. They are part of everything we do in our daily lives, from cooking our breakfast to driving our cars. Nearly everything can be represented in a form of quantitative data, and I genuinely enjoy analyzing and interpreting these numbers in a way that is simple and easy for others to understand. As a junior in mathematics at Iowa State, my skillset and qualifications make me an asset for a position in data analytics. I have strong interpersonal and analytical skills that will make a positive impact on the goals and efforts of a company that promotes a friendly work environment and offers an opportunity for personal and professional growth. I have spent my time at Iowa State University involved in various organizations that have readied me to become an adaptable, instant contributor to a company. Both my positions as Executive Vice President of Leadership Development for the Interfraternity Council and Vice President of Recruitment for my fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta, have enhanced my skills in professional communication and organization. For example, I had to collaborate with my executive council members to organize information collected throughout the year in order to submit a fraternal awards packet. In regards to analytical thinking, my coursework in mathematics has provided me with ample practice in statistical modeling and theory of analytical methods. I look forward to joining the professional field of mathematics and data analytics, and working within a company alongside a team of individuals towards a common goal.
