I enjoy learning and using what I've learned to volunteer within my community. Currently I spend time as a living historian at the Daniel Boone Homestead, demonstrating open hearth cooking, textile processing, and giving tours. Additionally, I am a member of the PA Heartland Herb Society assisting in the maintenance of local historical gardens as well as functioning as the email coordinator for the group. I enjoy interacting with and passing on my knowledge of history and self-sufficiency to young people.
