I am a second semester Freshman at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I am majoring in Computational Media, a program that blends computing with the wide variety of skills and human understanding inherent in a liberal arts degree. My concentration will focus on narrative design and storytelling through digital media.

My past pursuits have centered around the concepts of writing and narrative, including the construction and planning of a fantasy series that is currently in progress, narrative direction on the games Save the System and Shifting Sands, a video essay on Hayao Miyazaki, and numerous articles for my school newspaper, the Technique, and RevelU, a national social website.
I have always aimed to be at the forefront of new developments in both technology and media, and I believe that with the ever expanding presence of computers it is fundamental to develop the skills required to interact with these machines. However, in the presence of these rapidly evolving technologies, I also believe that it is crucial to connect at the human level through storytelling, interface, and media.
