Cheikh Sarr

Majored in Ethnic Studies, Minored in Film Studies
Edgewood College, Class of 2016
From Madison, WI
My name is Cheikh Sarr. I graduated from Edgewood College on December 18, 2016, with a bachelor degree in Ethnic studies and minor film studies. I was accepted into the Community Scholars Program. The Community Scholar program offers a full-tuition scholarship to three freshman students every year and four students every four years. Program participants give back to the program by volunteering 200 hours in the Edgewood College community and/or the greater Madison community each year. Through this opportunity, I have gained leadership skills and academic excellence. I have also held many leadership roles here at Edgewood College, such as being a Resident Assistant, a Mentor to the campus grade school and high school students and most recently the President of the Ethnic Studies Association.
