Helping, encouraging, and teaching skills and material needed to pass certain college level courses. I plan sessions according to what the tutees are currently learning in that class with a goal of having a productive, open, and active learning environment.

Technical Assistant at Iowa State University
As an assistant I help run the computer and timing system for Iowa State women's home diving meets. I make sure everything is connecting and running properly before the meet starts, testing the big screen and making sure the divers information is correct, as well as printing and hanging the diving order. During the meet I run the scoring system, changing from diver to diver and writing down the judges scores in case a technical problem would occur. If anything is incorrect or a diver would like to change the difficulty of their dive I do that manually if the situation occurs. At the conclusion of the meet I print the results and scores for the announcer as well as for each coach and shut down the systems. This position requires me to unsure things run smoothly, keeping me on my toes and requires a very calm attitude during situations which are unexpected.
