School Based Community Outreach Specialist at Ozark Center, Joplin, Missouri
I link people in the community of McDonald County with services offered through Ozark Center, including school based therapy and community support specialists. I complete intakes on all families and children to ensure they meet qualifications for the programs offered and assist the family in ensuring they will receive funding.
May 2015 - Present
Foster Care Case Manager at Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services
I assisted families in regaining custody of their children after they had been removed from their home. I provided and presented information to the court system on behalf of the children on the progress of the parents involved in the cases. The ultimate goal was to reunify the child within one year of being removed and if reunification was not possible, finding another forever home.
September 2014 - April 2015
Psychometrician at Ozark Center, Joplin, Missouri
I assisted the Clinical Psychologist at Will's Place by administering achievement, intelligence, and personality assessments to patients. I scored and analyzed all assessments and prepared the report for the psychologist.
August 2013 - April 2015
Service Coordinator at Ozark Center, Joplin, Missouri
As a service coordinator, I was a link between individuals who had developmental disorders and state resources. I carried a case load of 40-50 individuals, met with them weekly, monthly, or annually to assess their current needs and linked them to the appropriate resources.

Supervised adolescents who were living in a residential lockdown facility. Assisted during group therapy when necessary, facilitated daily routine within the cottage, attempted to maintain control during high stress situations, and verbally deescalated individuals when necessary.
