My name is Dalton Ulm and I am a Junior at Miami University (Oxford). Currently, I am a Strategic Communication and Professional Writing double major with a focus in Digital Media. One day I hope to work in an organization as a high level Project Manager, Event Planner, Field Manager or Professional Fundraiser. I also plan to study abroad at Miami's sister school in Luxembourg my junior year as well as I speak fluent German! On-campus, I am involved in; In May of 2014 I was appointed and elected the Chief-of-Staff for the Diversity Affairs Council. In this position, it is my responsibility to take the brand of DAC and create and plan events on-campus that will unite the students and the community with a goal of creating awareness around diversity and individuality. I delegate tasks and projects to 12 executive board members that assist in building the reputation and branding of Diversity Affairs Council. Along with Diversity Affairs Council, I am a member of a professional business fraternity, Pi Sigma Epsilon (Gamma Gamma Chapter), where we partner with companies to help re-strategize, market, and re-brand their consumer outreach model. PSE Miami operates like a small consulting firm. Clients are provided with innovative business solutions and chapter members are given opportunities to gain real world business experiences. The organization is heavily focused on marketing and sales however all majors are recruited to work with a diverse portfolio of companies. Past clients include Schneider Electric, Procter & Gamble, Hasbro, BMW, Rockfish Interactive, Target, Mead Five Star, and the BMS Group. Campus Involvement: Chief-of-Staff for Diversity Affairs Council, member of Pi Sigma Epsilon professional business fraternity, Professional Development Committee member for Pi Sigma Epsilon, Homecoming Court Selection Board, and MU Dropouts (skydiving club).
