Bureau of Organizational Learning and Quality Improvement Intern at Division of Children, Youth, and Families: New Hampshire

As an intern for the Bureau of Organizational Learning and Quality Improvement (BOLQI) I assisted the agency in reviewing district offices across the state and collecting child welfare research, and helped to write and create policies that are related to collected research. I provided support in developing presentations for the district offices that would allow the agency to recognize, and focus on, areas in need of improvement. I also learned about and practiced quality improvement and assurance, as well as solution-based casework.

Volunteer at University of New Hampshire Psychology Violence Lab

While volunteering in the psychology lab, I assisted in writing transcriptions, and completed data entry. I also presented data with colleagues for the New Hampshire Psychological Association, and won first place in a poster presentation regarding women’s rights issues.
