Deborah Davis joined the Valdosta State University faculty in June 1993. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts in Teaching in English and Bachelor of Arts in economics, both from the University of Georgia. She completed upper level coursework in English at Valdosta State. She holds membership in the Academy of Certified Archivists and the Consortium of Belize Educational Cooperation. She is an archivist, a board member, and chairwoman of the records committee for the Georgia Library Association.
