I absolutely love working with kids! Until I had a child of my own, I hadn't realized how much joy working with children brings me. I recently graduated (5/9/15) with a B.S. in educational studies and a specialization in psychology so that I can align my career with my new found passion: teaching children and adolescents.

Helping the Scouts in my Den accomplish the Achievements required to advance in rank. While serving on the Committee I've helped coordinate fundraising activities and several Pack events.

Work Experience

Intern at Caritas Family Solutions

Duties included: researching foundations for posible grant opportunities, aquiring donations from area businesses for fundraising events, updating donor profiles, setting up for fundraising events, and creating flyers for events.

Pre-school Teacher at St. Henry Creative Learning Center

Developed projects based on the books that I read to them for the students to complete and display their work on bulletin boards. Developed and implemented indoor and outdoor activities to increase the students' knowledge of the natural world. Taught the students how to use computer tablets for educational purposes. Took the students on many field trips to better aquaint them with the world around them.
