Diplomat for Diversity at University of North Georgia
As a diplomat for diversity, it is my job to plan town hall type meetings and lead classroom facilitations on a wide range of topics as requested or as needed. Focusing on social justice and diversity, We lead dialogues between the students that tend to be avoided due to the level of discomfort, lack of knowledge, or strong confrontations they can sometimes make. Our focus is creating an environment where students will be comfortable with their ideas, can share, and hold on to their beliefs yet always be open to others. Diversity training is useful in all fields of work and helps build conflict resolution skills for our students and faculty to excel in whatever path they choose. https://www.facebook.com/dipl0mats/
